Our Neighbours Ministry

Our Neighbours Ministry is an interdenominational Christian non-profit organisation reaching out to the poorest of the poor in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe. We seek to show God’s love to our neighbours.

There are four key areas of Our Neighbours Ministry, being:

  • Isaiah’s Umuzi Wothando (Isaiah’s Homes of Love) where we have a babies home for abandoned babies where they are lovingly cared for and we assist to facilitate fostering and adoption, and ‘forever homes’ where abandoned and orphaned children are cared for in a family environment;
  • Our Neighbours; where support, assistance and empowerment is given to individuals and families who are living in terribly difficult and disadvantaged circumstances;
  • North End Home; where children who were previously living on the streets are cared for in a family environment, where counselling, rehabilitation, and assistance with family/community reunification is provided; and
  • Lighthouse Christian School; a school for children who have missed out on many years of schooling, where they are provided with quality education and training in life skills, social development, and health education.

  1. We have recently established Bulawayo Hope a non profit charity to raise funds to establish a residential school in Bulawayo under the guidance of Bishop Albert Chantindo. We would love to make contact with Martin Barrow with regard to this Ministry as we believe that the poor in Bulawayo have been neglected and a little help from people like us will give those folk hope and encouragement and let them know that they are not forgotten. Yours in Christ Malcolm and Jenny. Bulawayo Hope

    1. Thanks for your message Malcolm and Jenny, and sorry for taking so long to reply. We have forwarded your message on to Martin and the team so you should receive a reply from them soon.
