- We will soon be needing a new heavy-duty tumble drier – our clothes and nappies are sun dried and then placed into the tumble drier for a short cycle before taking the clothes out for folding and packing away. The one we have is slow and gets used very regularly.
- Our current stove is old and does not have the capacity to cook all the needed meals. We currently have a four plate Monarch stove with cast iron elements and also use a two plate cooker also with the flat cast iron element plates. We are investigating “Solar Cookers” and if we feel this is the way we go we would need to fence off an area where the cookers can be positioned for optimum sunlight, and then to source suitable cooking pots with lids to suit.
- A messenger’s bicycle which can be used for small errands and daily purchases of fresh bread.
- Yard-worker’s protective clothing / work-suit
